***Mt. Ararat Stage Company and Mt. Ararat Middle School Drama Club — combined Spring Musical
Fri, March 4, and Sat, March 5, 7 pm
Sat, March 5 and Sun, March 6, 3 pm

Everyone’s favorite red-headed orphan comes to the Orion Performing Arts Center in Topsham, ME, for four performances from March 4-6, 2016. In a co-production between Mt. Ararat High School and Mt. Ararat Middle School, over 120 students will bring the beloved musical ‘Annie’ to the stage in one of largest productions ever produced by the Mt. Ararat Stage Company.  Annie is the perfect family-friendly musical.   With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
‘Annie’ features a score by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charin, and a book by Thomas Meehan. The production is Directed and Choreographed by Adam P.
